Account Management Associate

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Management Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our state and local government as well as public service customers. The primary responsibilities of the Account Management Associate include ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth through proactive engagement and strategic account management. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for client service and a drive for success to contribute to our team's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction for repeat business to grow ASSYST’s business in new and existing accounts in the U.S. State and Local government sector
  • Execute prospecting strategies to discover new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate proactivity, persistence, and a willingness to learn new technology and processes.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels to pursue new business.
  • Collaborate with and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate our values, products, and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within state and local government agencies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
  • Work with the business development team to develop and execute joint business development/marketing activities that promote company solutions and generate incremental opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote company services and establish relationships with potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the IT Services Industry.
  • Proficiency in responding to IT Task/Work Orders, RFRs, and RFPs.
  • Experience working with IT Professional Services programs.
  • Familiarity with State and local government operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of state and local government procurement processes and regulations is advantageous.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
