Siebel Expert (Part Time - Remote)

Assyst is looking for an experienced Siebel Expert for a part-time remote position with our client in Rockville, MD. This one-year contract role involves leading Siebel application support and system enhancements while working remotely. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Siebel technologies and a proven track record in managing and optimizing Siebel environments.

Job Title: Siebel Expert
Duration: 1 year (Part - Time)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the resolution of Production, Development, and Test application issues, along with overseeing system enhancement development from requirement gathering through implementation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues reported by users, technical, or functional staff.
  • Perform periodic refreshes of Siebel Dev/Test environments from production.
  • Develop and maintain Siebel scripting and workflow processes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain configurations to support evolving business processes.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, apply patches, and monitor various Siebel environments.
  • Manage change management processes effectively to support system updates.
  • Monitor servers, applications, and web servers, and troubleshoot integration errors to ensure seamless system operation.

Technology Skills:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Siebel IP2016 or later.
  • Strong expertise in Siebel Configuration, Siebel Tools, Siebel Workflow, and Siebel Scripting.
  • Proficiency in installing and deploying enterprise-scale Oracle Siebel CRM environments, including Siebel Tools and Developer Web Client setup and configuration.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Siebel Architecture, Administration, and Integration, including automated builds, deployment manager, repository import/export, table activation, and object manager maintenance.
  • Experience with Siebel Integration technologies.
  • Proven background in system and performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting within Siebel enterprise systems.
  • Experience in managing large enterprise environments on Windows Server and Linux platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with experience in Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Experience as a Siebel Architect or similar role with a track record of delivering complex Siebel solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Siebel Certification is highly preferred.
