ASSYST is seeking an Organizational Change Manager to support our client project in Austin, TX. Use change management principles and practices to lead and manage the change management activities and integrate change and user adoption initiatives for a large-scale department transition and transformation project. This position will provide direct support to the project manager and project team overseeing the successful delivery of the project. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new processes, systems, and structures within the IT department. Activities may include assessing potential change impacts, developing change management plans, identifying, and analyzing key stakeholders, tailoring communication to agency stakeholders, training, risk management, and collaboration with other teams to ensure coordination, and feedback collection.
The Position will be remote. The Program will allow candidates who are within the state (Any location within the State of Texas).
Minimum Requirements: Required Experience:
6 years of Overall experience in IT operations with solid change management knowledge.
5 years of Proven experience in change management, preferably within large-scale transformation projects.
4 years of strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
4 years of Experience in change management background based on ITIL principles and practices is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Certification in change management (e.g, Prosci or CMAP) or 4 years of experience equivalent
Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage ambiguity and push through business challenges to drive results and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and follow through.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
