ASSYST is seeking  IT Asset Management Analyst – Mid Level  in Laurel, MD. The candidates will work with the IT Asset Manager to maintain the HAM Pro/SAM Pro modules, including enhancements, testing, and upgrades. They will also develop internal operating procedures, create asset records for all new purchases, reconcile asset licenses, and prepare reports. The main function of the group is to maximize the value of our clients asset investments while managing cost, risk and compliance through the asset lifecycle. 

Education, Skills and Experience Required: 

• At least 5 years experience working in IT Asset Management
• Experience analyzing IT asset data for cost, risk, and compliance management.
• Experience managing IT assets through the lifecycle.
• Understanding of software licensing and how hardware configurations impact licensing.
• Experience with ServiceNow Asset Module (HAM/SAM).
• Experience maintaining an IT Hardware or Software asset repository.
• Experience producing reports and presentations
• Specialized Experience Experience creating software entitlement records in ServiceNow.
• Experience creating and implementing IT asset governance procedures for all stages of the asset lifecycle.
• Knowledge of IT Asset Management best practices.
• Knowledge of asset discovery tools, including ServiceNow and SCCM.
• IAITAM Certifications (CSAM preferred)
