ASSYST is seeking a Java Database Developer-Level III to support our client project. This is a 100% Remote position. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database-driven Java applications, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. This role involves collaboration across teams, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.
Requirements:
8 years Required: Hands-on experience in Java development, including extensive experience with J2EE, Servlets, and related technologies.
8 years Required: Strong development experience in implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Java security authentication, and authorization of services and user accounts.
8 years Required: Proficient in using Servlets, Spring, and Spring Batch for web application development.
8 years Required: Experience in ad hoc data analysis and reporting.
4 years Required: Strong hands-on experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST).
4 years Required: Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Maven, and Jenkins.
4 years Required: Hands-on experience in Full Stack Development, working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, JSF, and PrimeFaces 7.0.
4 years Required: Hands-on experience in design and development of XSD and Schematron data validation rules.
4 years Required: Hands-on experience with at least one application server configuration (WildFly, Tomcat, or WebLogic).
4 years Required: Expert-level understanding of MongoDB and Postgres databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, aggregate operations, and performance tuning.
4 years Required: Experience in designing and optimizing database queries and procedures in Postgres and MongoDB.
Preferred Experience
8 years Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8 years Preferred: Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
2 years Preferred: Familiarity with Azure App Services & Cloud Services.
2 years Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare or State Department applications is a plus.
