ASSYST is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to elicit and document requirements, enhance software and business processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success. This role focuses on leveraging expertise in SDLC, requirements management, and working with educational agencies or similar environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements through interviews with customers and develop comprehensive, well-written system requirements documents.
• Utilize expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to guide and support project execution.
• Re-engineer business processes and improve software process flows to align with organizational goals.
• Create detailed user stories and use cases adhering to business analysis best practices.
• Design mockups and wireframes that conform to UX best practices, ensuring a user-friendly interface.
• Employ strong communication and facilitation skills to engage stakeholders and drive project alignment.
• Leverage strong writing and organizational skills to produce clear, actionable project documentation.
• Utilize Modern Requirements for requirements management and Atlassian Jira for issue tracking.
• Bring documented experience working with TEA (Texas Education Agency) or similar state/local education agencies to inform project decisions.
