ASSYST is seeking a highly skilled and motivated 'Learning Management Systems (LMS) Developer' with expertise in LMS development for our client in Austin, Texas.
The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable LMS solutions, collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements, and mentor junior engineers. This role requires a deep understanding of process automation, workflow design, and cutting-edge LMS technologies.
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid 1 Day Onsite, 4 days remote every week)
Please Note: The position will be 4 days remote, with 1 day (Tuesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
Program will allow candidates who are within the State of Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to identify enhancement opportunities and system improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated workflows to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Integrate LMS solutions into existing systems and processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance developer velocity and code quality.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of system processes to ensure accuracy and robustness.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in LMS technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ Years Experience: Working as a Software Engineer or equivalent role.
- 5+ Years Hands-On LMS Development: Proven track record in designing and deploying LMS solutions.
- 4+ Years Using Articulate: Demonstrated proficiency with Articulate tools.
- 4+ Years Process Automation: Strong understanding of workflow design, exception handling, and error management.
- 4+ Years Solution Architecture: Experience in process discovery, requirements gathering, and architecture design.
- 4+ Years Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3+ Years WPF Development: Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation.
- Programming Proficiency: Knowledge of C#, Java, or Python.
- 3+ Years UI Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks such as MAUI, WinUI, or ReactJS.
- BPMN Methodology: Experience with diagramming using BPMN 2.0.
- Adult Learning Theory: Knowledge of principles and practices related to adult learning.
