ASSYST is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Stack Java Developer with React.js to support our government customer based in Austin, TX. You will play a key role in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from front-end user interfaces to back-end APIs and data management. This is a hands-on role that will provide technical direction to team members in addition to their own development tasks. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack ReactJS applications on enterprise platforms and cloud-based technologies. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Position will be 2 days(Mon-Tues) remote and 3days on-site at the(Austin, TX). Candidates must already reside in Texas.
Required experience:
Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development – (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example).
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
Experience working with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
Experience with Web-based user interface development using ReactJS.
Demonstrable experience developing back-end applications and RESTful APIs using Java.
Experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on React.js development.
Preferred experience:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React.
Experience with GraphQL.
Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
Experience in building, supporting, maintaining, and monitoring mission critical business, applications/systems, running in highly distributed environments.
Experience with Cosmos.
Experience with Elastic Search.
