Full-Stack Java Developer with (React.js)
Austin, TX · Information TechnologyASSYST is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Stack Java Developer with React.js to support our government customer based in Austin, TX. You will play a key role in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from front-end user interfaces to back-end APIs and data management. This is a hands-on role that will provide technical direction to team members in addition to their own development tasks. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack ReactJS applications on enterprise platforms and cloud-based technologies. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Position will be 2 days(Mon-Tues) remote and 3days on-site at the(Austin, TX). Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Required experience:
- Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development – (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example).
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
- Experience working with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Experience with Web-based user interface development using ReactJS.
- Demonstrable experience developing back-end applications and RESTful APIs using Java.
- Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
- Experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
- Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on React.js development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
- Experience in building, supporting, maintaining, and monitoring mission critical business, applications/systems, running in highly distributed environments.
- Experience with Cosmos.
- Experience with Elastic Search.
