ASSYST is seeking an experienced .NET MAUI Mobile Developer to support a critical project for our client, the Texas Department of Public Safety, within the Information Technology Division. The selected Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase, which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform, to .NET MAUI. This effort is essential to ensure the continued functionality of the Department’s TXMAP iOS and Android mobile applications.

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid/On-site as required)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase from .NET Xamarin to .NET MAUI. 
• Ensure the successful migration and continued functionality of TXMAP mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with the .Net platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices.
• Atlassian Tool Suite, mainly JIRA.
• Experience migrating mobile applications from Microsoft Xamarin to .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI).
• Experience with State of Texas applications
