ASSYST is seeking a Business Analyst to support our government customer based in Austin, TX.
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Tuesdays and Fridays ) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Formulates systems to align with overall business strategies.
Experienced in business process reengineering and identifying new technology applications to improve business effectiveness.
Familiar with industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering practices.
Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build assessments.
Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps.
Works in a SAFe environment on major system modernization projects and ongoing Medicaid application enhancements.
Provides project oversight for Medicaid IT-contracted systems, integrated projects, and dependent efforts.
Supports documentation and delivery of application enhancements within the Medicaid IT-contracted systems team.
Serves as an IT stakeholder for various application enhancement initiatives involving multiple Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors.
Assists in creating processes and documentation to ensure consistent understanding and alignment with agency direction for integrated solutions.
Required Experience:
Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
Working in an Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
Experience and knowledge of Texas HHSC processes and Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems.
