Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed interviews with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable system requirements and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and product owners throughout the SDLC.
- Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria based on business analysis best practices.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and process flows that align with user experience (UX) best practices.
- Lead or support efforts in business process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions.
- Track and manage requirements using requirements management tools such as Modern Requirements (preferred).
- Utilize issue tracking software such as Atlassian Jira for documenting user stories, tasks, and bugs (preferred).
- Support QA and UAT processes by validating that delivered solutions meet documented requirements.
- Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and communication materials for project stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in gathering and eliciting requirements through customer interviews and translating them into clear, comprehensive system requirements.
- 8 years of experience working across various Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs).
- 8 years of experience in business process re-engineering and enhancing software process flows.
- 8 years of experience developing user stories and use cases in alignment with business analysis best practices.
- 8 years of experience creating mockups and wireframes that adhere to user experience (UX) design standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating strong communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- 5 years of experience showcasing excellent writing and organizational capabilities.
- At least 3 years of experience using Modern Requirements for managing and documenting system requirements.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Atlassian Jira for issue tracking and project/task management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience collaborating with or working for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) or other state/local education agencies.
- 1 year of documented experience working with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program.
