Location: Tallahassee, FL Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099) Position: Onsite, No Remote Work Allowed.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support FDOT business process analysis and system enhancements, including the PALM implementation. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technology solutions, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document business processes, dependencies, and system impacts.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
Capture requirements as user stories and manage backlog in Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with development and QA teams on deliverables.
Create test plans, test cases, and coordinate testing and QA efforts.
Review deliverables for compliance with FDOT standards.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of business process and systems analysis experience.
Proficiency in Visio (process modeling) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Experience with Azure DevOps (backlog and requirement management).
Knowledge of testing, QA, data migration, and release/change management.
Technical experience with IBM Mainframe, distributed, and cloud systems (preferred).
Agile project experience highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong skills in process modeling, requirements gathering, and system analysis.
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, development practices, and PMBOK principles.
Advanced skills with SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Project.
CBAP or CSM certification is a plus.
