ASSYST is seeking a skilled Business Analyst – PeopleSoft FSCM to support our client in Austin TX
Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099) Position: Hybrid/Remote
This is currently a remote position but could become hybrid and require some time in the main office. Specific days will be negotiated at that time.

Job Title: Business Analyst – PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) 9.2 system. This position focuses on the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing modules, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful system integrations and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead requirements gathering sessions and perform detailed fit/gap analyses with subject matter experts.
Develop functional specifications and process documentation for PeopleSoft AR and Billing modules.
Support end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure system enhancements align with business needs.
Create and maintain business process documentation, flowcharts, and configuration guides using Microsoft Visio and O365 applications.
Utilize MS Teams and SharePoint for effective collaboration, tracking, and documentation in large project teams.
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements post-implementation.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
8 years of experience implementing and supporting Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
8 years of experience gathering requirements and conducting fit/gap analysis.
8 years of hands-on experience performing system integration testing with third-party interfaces.
Proficiency with Microsoft O365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Experience working in a large team environment using MS Teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years experience with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).
2+ years experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger module.
Experience working with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
Experience using SharePoint and Jira for collaboration and project tracking.
Knowledge of Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
