Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099) Position: Onsite, No Remote Work Allowed.
Help Desk Technician We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Help Desk Technician to provide essential technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and possess the technical expertise required to troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues. This role is perfect for a professional who is eager to grow and advance in the field of IT support.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person support.
Assist users with varying levels of technical proficiency, offering clear and patient guidance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, information systems, and common applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10, and Adobe products.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and network access using Active Directory.
Offer support for cloud-based technologies and platforms, including Microsoft Azure.
Maintain accurate records of all support requests and their resolutions using a ticketing system.
Required Skills
3+ Years experience delivering superior customer service (written, verbal, and in-person) across multiple delivery channels (telephone, email, in-person).
2+ Years experience working with customers across all levels of technological proficiency.
2+ Years experience in the support of computers, the use of applicable programs and systems (such as Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10, and Adobe products), and troubleshooting information systems.
1+ Year experience with Active Directory.
1+ Year experience with cloud platforms and technologies like Microsoft Azure.
1+ Year experience desire to grow and advance within an organization with an opportunistic landscape.
