ASSYST is seeking a skilled RPA Developer to support our client in Austin TX

Location: Austin, TX
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Position: Hybrid - (Onsite Days, Mondays & Tuesdays) and (Remote Days, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays).

The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.

We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer to design, develop, deploy, and optimize automation solutions that streamline business processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in Blue Prism, strong foundational knowledge in web technologies and databases, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient automation solutions. Experience with API development, cloud platforms, and Agile practices is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions, primarily using Blue Prism, ensuring robust, efficient, and maintainable automations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct process discovery, gather requirements, and define solution architecture.
  • Integrate RPA workflows with web applications, RESTful services, and SQL/No-SQL databases.
  • Develop and troubleshoot automations involving HTML, JavaScript, DOM, HTTP protocols, and related web technologies.
  • Build and consume APIs to enhance automation capabilities and system integrations.
  • Support cloud-hosted automation environments, including Azure infrastructure monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Follow Agile development methodologies, participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Develop additional automations using Power Automate and other Microsoft Power Platform tools as needed.
  • Ensure automations comply with security, compliance, and performance standards, particularly in Health and Human Services (HHS) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) environments.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • 8 years of hands-on RPA development experience, including at least 4 years with Blue Prism.
  • 8 years of web development experience including HTML, JavaScript, DOM, and HTTP protocol.
  • 8 years of experience working with SQL/No-SQL databases.
  • 8 years of experience with RESTful web services.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience with API development.
  • 4 years of experience in process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution architecture.
  • 4 years of proficiency in C#, Java, or Python.
  • 3 years of experience with Azure infrastructure, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • 3 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • 1 year of experience developing solutions using Power Automate.
  • Blue Prism Certification (Preferred).
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification (Preferred).
  • Prior experience supporting Health and Human Services (HHS) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) environments.
