Job Description: Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with deep expertise across the full software development life cycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE, SQL, system integration, testing, and enterprise‑level application development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy applications using Java/J2EE, SQL, Web Services, RAD, and WebSphere.
- Analyze user requirements, evaluate feasibility, and create detailed technical specifications.
- Develop and optimize Oracle‑based stored procedures and relational database interactions.
- Lead system integration testing, create test plans and scenarios, and manage defect reporting and validation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clear documentation and successful delivery.
- Apply structured analysis, object‑oriented design, and strong understanding of data structures, data migration, and relational/multi‑dimensional database concepts.
- 8+ years in full SDLC development, Java/J2EE, SQL, OOD, Web Services, RAD, WebSphere, and Oracle.
- 8+ years in system integration testing, test planning, and defect management.
- 8+ years working with data structures, data migration/conversion, and database design.
- Proven experience evaluating user requests, defining requirements, and developing structured development plans.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- 2+ years experience with HHSC systems.
