ASSYST is seeking an experienced UAT Testing Specialists to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Manual, Integration, Automation, API, and Performance Testing for complex, public-facing enterprise systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform software testing and validation, including functional, regression, integration, interface, and downstream testing
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Map business and functional requirements to test scenarios
- Translate written and verbal requirements into effective User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios
- Design and prepare test data to support testing activities
- Execute test cases and document test results
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to ensure timely resolution
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, test schedules, and testing timelines
- Perform API testing using ReadyAPI or similar tools
- Conduct performance testing and validation using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter, or similar
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to validate requirements and resolve issues
- Participate in quality assurance activities including peer reviews of test artifacts
- Support all phases of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of complex, public-facing systems
- 2+ years of experience testing web applications
- Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and testing skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with business, technical, and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing Java/Web-based applications
- Experience testing websites across multiple browsers and platforms
- Experience with API, backend, and database testing (SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Experience in performance testing and large enterprise system testing
- Experience in healthcare systems, health insurance marketplaces, or government systems
- Familiarity with Agile or Iterative SDLCs and QA best practices
- Experience with mobile testing, data migration, and data validation testing
