ASSYST is seeking a skilled
Salesforce Developer to join our client's Agile team in
Austin, Texas.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development and be adept at designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to meet business needs. This role requires proficiency in programming, system analysis, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
Position will be remote. Program will allow candidates who are within the State of Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform by analyzing information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Create and configure Salesforce components including Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Implement no-code solutions using Salesforce tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- Perform end-to-end technical tasks including data migration, system integration, 3rd-party application integration, and custom development.
- Ensure compliance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including coding standards, change control, and version management.
- Design and implement secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Salesforce Force.com platform.
- Develop and integrate authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth) and core web technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete deliverables according to Agile practices and the definition of done.
- Document solutions, perform peer reviews, analyze and resolve defects, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Provide on-call support as needed and contribute to continuous improvement in system performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Salesforce development, including Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Expertise in no-code configuration tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
- Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, coding standards, version management, and secure system architecture.
- Proficient in Salesforce technical aspects like classic to lightning upgrades, data migrations, system integrations, and 3rd-party application development.
- Strong experience with authentication protocols (OAuth) and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML).
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with both cloud-based and on-premise applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Flosum, and Git.
- 2+ years of experience creating custom Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
